Our pharmacy service to you - call Healthwatch for prescription deliveries

If you are self isolating and need your prescription delivered to your door Healthwatch South Glos is here to help.

Our team is on hand to give the latest advice, offer a friendly ear and if you can’t leave the house, we are now arranging prescription deliveries. Healthwatch South Gloucestershire can get your prescription to your door 48 hours after you put in a request.

After you call us we will match your order detaills with volunteer drivers who will collect from community pharmacies across South Glos. We will make sure it is a safe service by using people who are DBS checked.

Healthwatch was set up to find out about patient experiences of health and social care but has stopped face-face engagement activities for now and still wants to offer a friendly service centred around your needs. We are also here to listen to your stories of care, as now more than ever people need to access medicine, shopping, health and wellbeing services to stay safe and well during these challenging times.

  • In response to the increased pressure placed on pharmacies due to COVID-19, Healthwatch South Gloucestershire are matching volunteer drivers up with requests for prescription deliveries from community pharmacies in South Glos.
  • The volunteers Healthwatch match up are DBS checked. 
  • After ringing us with your request for a prescription pick up, it will take 48 hours for your items to be delivered.
  • Each situation will be different and we will be a flexible as possible; always ensuring awareness of safeguarding, respecting social distancing and limiting the use of cash.
