New dementia meeting centre opening in South Gloucestershire

Dementia meeting centres offer support for people with a recent dementia diagnosis, people living with mild to moderate dementia, and carers. The new centre at Bradley Stoke Evangelical Church will offer practical, social, and emotional support.

The aim of a dementia meeting centre is to improve the wellbeing of people with a dementia and their carers/families, to help them cope as they adjust to the changes that living with dementia can bring.

Alive Activities are running two open days ahead of the opening of their new centre in South Gloucestershire. You'll have the opportunity to meet the team, try out some activities, and find out about the service.

The open days will be held at the centre at Bradley Stoke Evangelical Church, Baileys Court Road, Bradley Stoke, BS32 8BH:

  • Wednesday 17th August, 10am - 1pm
  • Thursday 25th August, 1pm - 4pm

If you would like to go along to an open day, please email sglosmeetingcentre@aliveactivities.org or call 0117 377 4756.

Alive Activities already run centres in Bristol and North Somerset. Click to find out more about their dementia meeting centres.
